Shri Krishna in Mahabharat

With these pearls of wisdom in perspective, a small group of visionary Rajasthanis, living in Canada put their hearts together to provide a forum for all Rajasthanis in Canada – to effectively nurture and cultivate love and respect amongst each other.

Away from the sand dunes of Thar and mountains of Aravali, the basic knowledge, significance and awareness about Teej, Gangaur, Dhola – Maru, Rana Sangha, Rana Pratap, Birla, Bangur, Gujjar, Meena, Ghoomar, Kalbelia, Dal – Bati – Churma all terminology so unique to Rajasthan’s rich culture and heritage seem to have lost their meaning. Not only for us, but painfully more so for the next generation …the young and upcoming generation.

RANA Canada welcomes all who feel proud to be called Rajasthanis to associate themselves and enroll as members and participate actively to keep our rich heritage and culture alive and to pass on this treasure to the next generation.
