Our objective is to promote the culture, values and heritage of Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Association of North America, Canada (RANA Canada) was formed with the mission of preserving and promoting Rajasthani culture, values, heritage and traditions. RANA Canada wants to instil these values in the current and future generations by exposing them to our long and deeply rooted values and heritage.
RANA Canada’s goal is to promote our rich culture by observing many traditional festivals and organizing them in North America periodically. Through all these, RANA Canada will provide the necessary cultural platform for our children who are residing in a land that is quite far from our original motherland.
RANA Canada upholds high values and expectations from our youth and believes that with the western educational system and Rajasthani values, they can be a very productive part of our society yet maintaining their roots.
Women are very important part of our society and RANA Canada’s goal is to provide the necessary support in empowering our ladies to achieve the best in their professions yet keeping their traditional role of being dedicated housewife, mother, sister, etc.
RANA Canada’s goal is to also bring our society closer so we can share the vast wealth of tradition and values together for our betterment.
- To support and promote the ideas of youth and establish facilities including but not limited to computer and technology centres, and web-sites for accessibility to information related to the history of Rajasthan;
- To support other organizations and centres around the world that are promoting the culture, values and principles of the Rajasthani community;
- To encourage youth particpation in the activities of RANA; to celebrate Rajasthani festivals and events;
- Any other activities not included above which relate to the general well-being of people from Rajasthan around the world.
