Anu Jain

President

President

Born in Haryana and now proudly part of Rajasthan through her marriage to Mr.  D.P. Jain, who hails from Alwar, Rajasthan, Mrs. Jain has embraced Rajasthani culture and values wholeheartedly. She holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from India, along with an M.Com. and B.Ed. She also earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from Canada.

Since immigrating to Canada in 2001 with her family, Mrs. Jain has excelled in her professional endeavors. Before transitioning to a career in insurance and investments, she worked in the corporate sector in both India and Canada, with her last role being a Financial Analyst at Toronto Hydro. Mrs. Jain is currently an active realtor, helping her clients achieve their financial goals and build robust real estate portfolios with her extensive expertise in financial planning and investments.

Mrs. Jain’s involvement with RANA Canada dates back to its early days. She has been an integral part of the organization, serving as a board member, committee chair, and event organizer for key events such as Holi, Diwali, and our annual picnics. Her leadership and dedication were recognized when she received the prestigious Best RANA Director award from our founder president, Sh. Yogesh ji.

Outside of work, Mrs. Jain enjoys traveling, cooking, and participating in social initiatives that make a positive impact on society. Her commitment to service, integrity, and community-building are reflected in all aspects of her life.

As the President of RANA, Mrs. Jain is committed to fostering collaboration among our members, ensuring transparent communication, and driving initiatives that align with our mission and values. We are confident that, under her leadership, RANA will continue to flourish and create meaningful opportunities for all our members.

Riddhi Agarwal

Vice-President Corporate Secretary & Administration

In 2016, Riddhi Agarwal embarked on a transformative journey to Canada with a bold vision to make a global impact. This quest for a fresh start quickly led her to RANA Canada, where she found a true sense of belonging and a vibrant community that felt like home. With her roots firmly planted in the rich cultural soil of Rajasthan, Riddhi’s Marwari heritage connects her to Sirohi and Bikaner, and her marriage to a Jodhpuri has deepened her appreciation for Rajasthani cultural traditions and values.On the professional front, Riddhi stands out as a distinguished Barrister & Solicitor, leading her own law firm, Karma Legal Professional Corporation. Her remarkable legal acumen is evident in several high-profile judgments and her reputation for excellence. Her expertise was further acknowledged when she was invited by the Ontario Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development to discuss "Ontario Removing Employment Barriers for Immigrants," where she shared her inspiring journey and valuable insights on achieving success.As the incoming Vice President, Corporate Secretary of RANA Canada, Riddhi is poised to champion the vibrant Rajasthani culture in Canada with renewed vigor. Her vision is to connect the youth with their rich heritage, bridging generations and nurturing a profound appreciation for Rajasthani traditions. With Riddhi’s leadership, we eagerly anticipate a thriving celebration of our culture and a future where our cherished traditions continue to inspire and flourish.

Darpan Begdai

Vice-President Finance

By day, Darpan is an AI and automation consultant, optimising businesses and outsmarting inefficiencies. By night, he's a chess-playing dad of two who constantly faces off against pint-sized opponents. After earning an MBA in India (ages ago, when people still rented DVDs), he developed a love for blending tech with human ingenuity. He’s equally passionate about staying in shape—because it takes strength to keep up with both cutting-edge tech and energetic kids!

Ritu Rai

Information Technology & Digital Assets Director

Intro: Ritu was born and brought up in Delhi with parents having roots in Rajasthan. She grew up in a big family hence the importance of values and culture always has a very high place in her heart. Ritu has two kids; 26 (Doing PhD) and 15 (high school) years old excelling in their studies.
Studies: Ritu is a Masters in Commerce, MBA Finance and has a Fellowship in Insurance from India. She did her CPCU from American Institute before moving to Canada in 2006. She started her career working in a Government Insurance company for 9 years before moving to IT sector in Insurance.  Since 2004, she has been a successful Business Architect and has worked with various North American Companies.
Interests: Ritu is an active person, loves travelling and hs visited more than 30 countries. She likes to contribute and be part of society and has been part of RANA for about 15 years now.

Ravi Singh Godara

Media, Communication & Outreach Director

Born in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, into a proud army family, Ravi Singh Godara has always embraced a spirit of discipline and hard work. After earning his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jaipur, he immigrated to Canada in 2014 to pursue specialization in drilling and blasting. Ravi’s early career led him to serve with various mining companies in Yukon and Nunavut, where he played key roles in leading gold exploration projects.

Transitioning into construction, Ravi contributed as a Construction Manager on one of Toronto’s most ambitious engineering projects—the Eglinton LRT—and managed other high-rise condominium developments across the GTA. These experiences provided him with a deep understanding of project management and urban development.

Today, Ravi has built a thriving career as a real estate broker, heading his own team at Elixir Real Estate Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario. He specializes in both residential and commercial properties, catering to clients across the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Brampton, and Vaughan. His engineering background, combined with five years in construction management, has fueled his passion for property investments and guided his transition to real estate.

On the personal front, Ravi is happily married to Rekha and is a devoted father to their daughter, Pihu. He enjoys spending his free time gardening, traveling, and making memories with his family. Ravi’s community involvement extends to his role as Director of Media, Communication & Outreach at RANA Canada, where he works to foster engagement and outreach initiatives.

Ramesh Agarwala

Youth & Immigration Director

Ramesh Agarwalla is a proud Indo-Canadian for the last 15 years. His family includes his lovely wife Renu, and two beautiful daughters, Mishika and Palak. Mishika is now married and settled. His ancestral home is in village Cheeplata (Neem Ka Thana), Sikar District of Rajasthan. He was born and brought up in Burnpur (Asansol) in West Bengal, where he lived for 20 years, then moved to Delhi where he lived for 15 years before moving to Canada. After moving to Canada in 2010, he completed his MBA (master’s in accounting) from McMaster University and then his realtor’s course from Humber College to secure my real estate licence. He has also successfully cleared The Common Final Examination (CFE), conducted by CPA Canada. In Canada, prior to his real estate business, he has worked for one of the largest Canadian grocery companies in the supply chain and finance domain. He was born and brought up in a community where the Rajasthani culture was very deep rooted. He strongly believe that our heritage, culture, tradition, values, and beliefs are unique. It has its own identity, and he is very proud of it. After settling down in the west and staying away from his parents and the local culture, he feels like all his brothers and sisters here that preserving, promoting, and maintaining the above is a common goal for us all. RANA’s vision and mission statement encapsulates the very essence of this common goal and objective of our community.He is a very social and a people’s person, a great team player, a good communicator and a leader who believes in setting examples. He strongly believe that as a team we always deliver better and more!

Hema Jain

Events & Cultural Director

Hema Jain is from Ludhiana, Punjab where she also got her bachelors degree in Arts. Her mom was from sadora village in haryana roots from Rajasthan and her mother in-law is also from a Rajasthani Jain family. She immigrated to Canada in 2011 with her husband and sons and got her diploma in psychology. She currently works at Winners as Assistant Manager.

Seema Gilotra

Membership & Sponsorship Director

Seema Gilotra was born and raised in Delhi and moved to Canada after getting married. Her family includes her husband and children, and through her husband’s Rajasthani roots, she feels a deep connection to Rajasthan. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science with a specialization in International Politics from Miranda House, Delhi University, as well as a Bachelor of Education from India. She later earned a second Bachelor of Education from OISE at the University of Toronto and is OCT-certified as a Secondary School Teacher. She has five years of teaching experience at the secondary school level in India, having worked at Apeejay School Pitampura and Bal Bharti School Pitampura. For the past several years, She has been teaching at the secondary level with the Peel District School Board in Canada. She is passionate about movies, music, and traveling, and for the past 12 years, she has been actively involved in community work, volunteering with various political and social organizations.

Varsha

Health & Wellness Director

Varsha is excited to serve as the new Director of Health and Wellness. She was born and raised in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, however, she has many family members who are in or from Rajasthani cities such as Jaipur, Nemich, Bhilwada and Udaipur. With her father running a pharmaceutical business, she naturally developed an interest in the field, which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree and become an Analytical Chemist. In 2002, she moved to Canada from Dubai with her family. In 2008, she earned her Pharmacy Technician diploma and began working in an independent pharmacy. This experience allowed her to blend her passion for healthcare with community service. She is a proud mother of a son, who has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics and a Master’s in Robotics (AI). His dedication to robotics has been truly inspiring. She has always been passionate about staying connected to our Rajasthani roots and passing on our rich culture to the next generation. Joining the RANA Board of Directors is a wonderful opportunity for her to contribute to community, and she looks forward to connecting with all of you at upcoming events.
